The Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on the Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement within the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to trainers developing strong opinions on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With numerous of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. This makes the Ram far more similar to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Remain on the friendly side of either and enjoy a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Similar to a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has aided numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Several past Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this total queen. It's impossible to tell me this creature is not the life of every party, providing an endless stream of chatter to those who wish to hear. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's very simple to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s official description also states its capacity to predict an enemy’s next moves, which sounds quite like a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly considered as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently becoming wrapped up in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to fully control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

Leo – Mega Starmie

Well, did you think I was going to pick the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple sea star, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion brings to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a performance, even if for aliens.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual digestive issues. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the symbol a Maiden posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

The Scales – Super Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a show. Being a Archer personally, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some version of a “silly little entertainer” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can imagine.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always believe they’re correct. The thing is, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is Leo, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire typing matches perfectly with this, and the Mega’s overall daunting presence is also very Aquarius. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
